The Buddha declared the Dhamma free and equal to all. He held back nothing, and never wanted of his disciples a blind and submissive faith in him or his Learn to enforce. He insisted that his students conduct an astute investigation and made intelligent inquiries. He was a very open teacher. In clear terms, he encouraged critical scrutiny when he addressed the interrogative Kalamas in the Kalama Sutta A03-065 who also rightly so 'The Buddha grants the privilege of free inquiry' hot.
And in accordance with this thoroughly correct attitude of true research, is said in a Buddhist treatise: "Like a goldsmith" gold tests by burning it, cutting it and sanding it (on a touchstone), so you will only accept my words after having them investigated, but not purely out of respect for me."
Buddhism is free from compulsion and repentance and demands of the do not follow a blind faith. From the very beginning, the skeptic will pleasantly touched by her call for an in-depth investigation.
