His life as a prince

The many sensuous pleasures within the palace gave the young prince nothing. He thought much more about the transience of things in life...

There were plenty of sensuous pleasures in the palace: the music and the song that filled the halls of the palace day and night; the beauty and the pleasant demeanor of the dancing girls; the smell of refined fragrance works; the finest silks and the most precious jewels for jewellery and decoration; rare delicacies and foods of the royal table. And yet, living day in and day out in the midst of this luxury, the prince impassive, it didn't bother him at all. Always in deep thought condition, with absent look in his beautiful eyes, he mused on the transient nature of the so-called pleasures of life and its questionable pleasures.
